Simon Hill

Simon is an analyst who specialises in housing research, while assisting on a wide variety of consultancy projects. He brings to the team experience of working in both the social housing sector and as a town planner. He principally supports the Homes for Us campaign. Simon’s research covers topics including right to buy, Section 106 housing obligations and planning reform. Alongside his work at NEF, he is undertaking a PhD at the University of Bristol in using community-led housing to redesign an ethic for the housing system and is a trustee of Bristol Community Land Trust.
